Error messages while signing up/ logging in on Alekhyam

These articles talk about the solutions to common errors faced by students while logging into their account on Alekhyam.

When Signing Up

Email ID already taken

This error is faced by users when signing up for the first time on Alekhyam. If you enter an  email address that has been previously used to sign up on the platform, you will be prompted with the error message.

Solution : Please use another email to rectify the issue.  

When Logging In

Invalid username/password

You will receive this error message if you are using the wrong combination of the email address and password.

• Make sure you are double checking both the credentials before clicking on “submit”
• In case you have forgotten your password, click on “Forgot Password”
• You will receive an email to update the password. Click on the link and create a new password.

Account locked

As a security measure, multiple attempts of an incorrect password more than 5 times will lead to the account being locked.

• This does not mean that your account is deleted. Please reset your password & recover your account by clicking on “Clicking here”.
